Refurbished Rooms-Please note we do not accept dogs in our accommodation
All five en-suite bedrooms were fully refurbished in early 2020, with brand-new furniture and fittings. The spacious rooms, four of which have a sea view, have been styled for maximum relaxation and comfort. All bedrooms have been styled with a rich, textured palette of neutral greens and greys for a relaxing ambience.
Relax In Comfort
Bedrooms are located on the first floor with access via stairs from the ground floor. Each is named after a local shoreside village or location. Beds are superking or king-sized with some having the option to be configured as single beds on request. Mattresses are pocket-sprung and beds are dressed in high-quality Egyptian cotton linen. Wool carpets and heavyweight roman blackout blinds add to overall room comfort. A non-smoking policy applies to all guest rooms.
Ameneties and Ensuites
Each room has a 32-inch flat-screen HD Smart TV with Freeview channels. Dual USB charging sockets are built in near the bedside tables and free Wi-Fi is available.
Rooms are equipped with a wardrobe including hangers, vanity desk, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, bottled water and tea and coffee making facilities.
All bathrooms feature walk-in overhead rain shower plus hand-held attachment, LED mirror and heated towel rail. White cotton towels and luxury toiletries are provided.
Flexible Room Information
Flexible room options are available, such as reconfiguring beds to offer twin rooms, providing children’s beds and travel cot. When Gillan and Porthkerris are booked together, separate access to the pair of rooms can be configured via a single, lockable door and a private landing area. This can create extra privacy for larger groups or families. Please ask for room advice at the time of booking.
Location
The Five Pilchards Inn is located just yards from the shoreline. Four of the bedrooms have a sea view, 2 of these being limited views but 2 offering far-reaching Cornish vistas towards Falmouth, St Mawes and the Roseland Peninsula.
